Can I Continue To Practice Yoga While Pregnant?

If you are pregnant, it is important to find ways to relax. Everyone is different and find other things to relax. Some find a good way to acupuncture to relieve stress or anxiety, while others prefer to exercise. Some people find relaxation in certain hobbies or prosecution. Some may practice yoga to relax and can even practice during pregnancy. However, some types of yoga are often recommended during pregnancy such as “Hot Yoga”, also known as Bikram yoga can be avoided. Talk to your doctor before starting any form of yoga or exercise, but many will be recommended for restorative yoga. (more…)
